PUBLIC ENCOURAGED TO SUPPORT MADE IN TANZANIA INITIATIVES

 

The Sixth annual Swahili Fashion Week will take place at Golden Tulip hotel from the, 5th to 8th December 2013 in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

Swahili Fashion Week 2013 will collectively bring together 40 designers from within Tanzania and beyond to showcase their collection, predicting trend for the East African market for year 2014.

"Swahili Fashion week this year is aimed at reaching out to the public to emphasize and promote talents in the fashion industry. It's more about valuing our own designers and building brands and taking them to a different level year in year out." Stated Washington Benbella, Swahili Fashion Week Manager

The Swahili Fashion Week launch party was held on 16 November at Golden Tulip attended by stakeholders in the design industry. During the party the designers showcasing at this year event were unveiled. They are:

CAMEROON HAOOOOOOO, KOMBE LA DUNIA 2014 WAIBANJUA TUNISIA MABAO 4-1

 Nahodha wa timu ya Cameroon,Samuel E'too, akishangilia baada ya timu yake kujikatia tiketi ya kufuzu kucheza fainali za kombe la Dunia 2014, kwa kuibanjua Tunisia mabao 4-1.

TIMU ya Cameroon jana imeungana na Ivory Coast na Nigeria kwa timu za Afrika kufuzu kutinga fainali za kombe la dunia mwaka 2014 nchini Brazil baada ya kuwaadhibu Tunisia kwa jumla ya mabao 4-1 mjini Yaounde, ambapo sasa ni mara ya saba mfululizo kwa timu hiyo kutinga fainali hizo.

Mwezi uliopita wakati mataifa hayo mawili yalipokutana katika uwanja wa Rades , nchini Tunisia matokeo yalikuwa suluhu ya kutofungana.

Lakini katika mechi iliyochezwa mjini Yaounde, jana Jumapili, mshambuliaji Pierre Webo, ndiye alikuwa wa kwanza kufungua ubao wa mabao baada ya kuchambua vilivyo na kuipenya safu ya ulinzi ya Tunisia.

Bao la pili liliweka kimiani na Benjamin Moukandjo, kabla ya timu hizo kwenda mapumziko, huku mchezaji wa akiba Ahmed Akaichi, akiipatia Tunisia bao la kufutia machazi na la pekee muda mfupi baadae.

Lakini kabla ya kipyenga cha mwisho, mchezaji Jean Makoun, aliiongezea Cameroon mabao mawili ya chap chap na kufanya matokeo kuwa 4-1 hivyo kuipa Cameroon tiketi ya kuwa timu mojawapo zitakazo wakilisha Afrika katika kombe la dunia nchini Brazil mwaka 2014.

Awali ,timu za Ivory Coast na Nigeria zilikuwa tayari zimejikatia tiketi ya kuwa wawakilishi wengine wa Afrika katika mashindano hayo ya mwaka 2014.

Mashabiki wa Soka wa Cameroon, wakishangilia timu yao baada ya kujikatia tiketi ya kufuzu Kombe la Dunia 2014, katika mchezo wao wa jana ilipoibanjua Tunisia, jumla ya mabao 4-1
